RaspEX is a special Linux distribution designed for Raspberry Pi. RaspEx is built from Ubuntu 15.04 and Debian Linux 8. It uses LXDE desktop which is simple and lightweight. But RaspEX it’s not a simple distribution with only some basic packages thrown on top of a window manager/desktop environment just for fun, just to prove that Linux works well on Raspberry Pi 2.
